Cosmo opens presale for JrTrack Pro, a 12mm kids smartwatch with a 730mAh battery, at $179.99

Cosmo, a Denver-based family technology company, announced the JrTrack Pro on Oct. 7, 2026. It joins the JrTrack line of kids smartwatches alongside the JrTrack 5 SE, which Cosmo positions as the lower-priced option. The Pro is designed for kids ages 6-12.

The watch has a 730mAh battery in a 12mm frame, and Cosmo states up to 3 days of standby battery life. It also has a 5MP camera, an AMOLED touchscreen and 3ATM water resistance, which Cosmo gives as up to 30 meters.

On the software side, the JrTrack Pro runs Cosmo's own operating system with HaloGPS real-time location tracking, SafeCore safety alerts and School-Fi Routines. School-Fi uses location rather than a fixed schedule to detect when a child is at school. Parents manage location, contacts and school routines from the Cosmo app.

The JrTrack Pro is available for presale from Oct. 7 and will retail for $179.99 MSRP at CosmoTogether.com and Amazon. Cosmo says it will arrive in time for the 2026 holiday season and does not give an exact shipping date. The watch requires a Cosmo membership, which includes cellular service with unlimited talk, text and data and GPS tracking. Memberships start at the equivalent of $9.99/mo for prepaid plans, or $19.99 per month on a month-to-month basis.
