The Braun ThermoScan 7 is a widely used Braun home ear thermometer. Age Precision: you select one of three age groups (0-3 months, 3-36 months, 36 months+) and a colour-coded display shows how to read the result. Pre-warmed tip and last-temperature memory. Braun states ±0.2°C between 35 and 42°C with proper technique. AAP advises ear readings from 6 months.
