Premium convertible car seat with ClickTight installation system threading the seat belt through the shell for a foolproof install. Includes SafeCell impact-absorbing base and dual side-impact protection.
Britax's ClickTight system is the most reliable installation method on the market โ open a compartment, thread the seat belt through, close it, and it clicks tight automatically. First-time installers report getting a solid fit on the first attempt, which is not something owners say about any other seat on this list. The SafeCell impact-absorbing base adds genuine crash protection, and the two layers of side-impact protection make this one of the most comprehensively safety-focused options available.
Pros
- ClickTight seat-belt install is nearly foolproof for any adult
- SafeCell impact-absorbing base with reinforced steel frame
- Excellent dual-layer side-impact protection
Cons
- Expensive relative to feature set compared to Graco
- Forward-facing harness limit of 65 lbs is lower than some competitors
