Elfa (sold by The Container Store in the US) hangs everything from a single top track screwed to the wall: hang standards drop from the track, and brackets, shelves, drawers and rods click into them, so you can move a shelf or add a drawer without new holes once the track is up. Elfa rates the system at 200 kg per section (the span between two standards), a wire shelf at 40 kg in 45 or 60 cm sections and 30 kg in 90 cm sections, and a closet rod at up to 45 kg in a 90 cm section. The honest limitation is cost: a full Elfa wall is typically priced well above a comparable PAX run, and the open design shows everything you store.
