900×300mm extended fabric mouse pad with stitched edges, natural rubber non-slip base, machine washable, covers tenkeyless keyboard plus mouse area, sub-¥2,000 entry-level desk pad.
The Xiaomi Extended Mouse Pad is the budget option with no feature pretense — a 900×300mm fabric surface on a rubber base with stitched edges. It covers a tenkeyless keyboard plus mouse area and is the correct answer if you want to experience a desk pad without meaningful financial commitment. Stitched edges on the 2026 version resist fraying noticeably better than un-stitched budget pads. The fabric surface accumulates hand oils and keyboard debris over months but is cleanable by hand washing or spot cleaning with diluted soap. The honest weakness: 300mm depth is shallower than the 450mm of the Sanwa Supply pad — users who rest their wrists below the keyboard may find 300mm depth insufficient.
Pros
- Budget tier — lowest price in comparison with functional coverage
- 900×300mm covers tenkeyless keyboard plus extended mouse area
- Stitched edges resist fraying better than un-stitched budget alternatives
- Machine washable fabric surface
Cons
- 300mm depth is shallower than 450mm alternatives — may be insufficient for wrist rest
- Fabric surface accumulates oils and debris requiring periodic washing
