The Frigidaire Gallery is the dependable mainstream workhorse — a well-built inverter-class window unit with a clean app for scheduling and remote control, an easy-mount design, and a reputation for simply working season after season. It usually undercuts the LG slightly while delivering most of the same comfort, and Frigidaire's huge installed base means brackets, parts, and support are easy to find. It's quieter and more efficient than the cheap on/off units on hardware-store shelves without trying to be the quietest or most efficient in the category. For a solid conventional window AC you don't have to overthink, it's the value pick.
Pros
- Reliable, well-built, easy to mount
- Clean scheduling and remote-control app
- Usually cheaper than the LG
- Parts and support widely available
Cons
- Not the quietest or most efficient here
- Conventional design with compressor inside
