Globe Electric Torchiere

The affordable up-light — a torchiere that bounces light off the ceiling to fill a room with soft indirect brightness, often with a reading-arm add-on and dimming, at an accessible price. The pick for brightening a whole room affordably rather than focused task or statement light.

The Globe Electric torchiere is the bright, affordable up-light pick. A torchiere points its light upward, bouncing it off the ceiling to fill a whole room with soft, indirect, ambient brightness — a great way to add a lot of general light without harsh glare or a ceiling fixture. Globe Electric offers torchiere and other floor lamps at accessible prices, often with built-in LED and dimming, and many include a small reading-light arm alongside the upward torchiere for combined ambient-plus-task lighting. It's the pick for brightening a whole room affordably with indirect light rather than a focused task or statement lamp. It's more about general room fill than precise task light or design impact, but for affordable whole-room brightness, it delivers.
