Budget silicone teether in figure-8 shape with multiple texture zones โ smooth sides, bumpy ridges, and raised nubs. Self-orienting shape makes it easy to grab from any angle.
The Munchkin Twisty Figure 8 Teether packs multiple textures โ smooth sides, bumpy ridges, and raised nubs โ into a figure-8 shape that gives small hands two comfortable grip positions. The soft, flexible silicone is BPA-free and passes standard safety certifications. Refrigerates well and provides cold relief. The figure-8 design is ergonomically better than straight-bar teethers for babies who tend to drop items because it's self-orienting and has no 'wrong' end to grab. At its price, it's the rational backup teether to keep in the diaper bag.
Pros
- Multiple texture zones in a simple shape โ bumps, ridges, and smooth silicone in one piece
- Figure-8 design has no wrong orientation โ easier for babies to self-correct grip
- Budget price makes it a sensible purchase for the diaper bag or grandparent's house
Cons
- Silicone firmness is middle-range โ not as soft as Sophie for early teethers
- Less recognizable brand means harder to find replacement if lost
