Breathable mesh cat window hammock suspended between four suction cup posts. Prevents heat buildup on sunny windows. Tested capacity 25 lbs.
ABest Hammock Style
PetPawJoy's hammock uses breathable mesh fabric stretched between four suction cup posts, creating a suspended bed that doesn't trap heat the way padded perches do. On a south-facing window in summer, that airflow is the practical advantage over a padded platform. The suction cups are standard rather than locking, so the window needs to be cleaned meticulously and the cups checked monthly. The manufacturer rates it at 25 lbs, which depends on how clean the glass is.
Pros
- Mesh fabric prevents heat buildup on sunny windows
- Multiple suction cup attachment points distribute load
- 25-lb manufacturer-rated weight capacity
Cons
- Standard (non-locking) suction cups require careful glass prep
- Hammock style doesn't work well for cats who want a firm surface
