Scosche Magicmount Pro

The best universal magnetic mount — a strong magnet plus a thin stick-on metal plate lets any phone (iPhone or Android) snap on with one hand, in many mounting styles, from a long-trusted line. Requires attaching the small plate, but the pick for fast magnetic mounting on any non-MagSafe or Android phone.

The Scosche MagicMount is the best magnetic mount for the universal, any-phone approach (not MagSafe-dependent). A strong magnet in the mount pairs with a thin metal plate you stick to your phone or inside your case, so any phone — iPhone or Android, any model — snaps on magnetically with one hand once the plate is attached. Scosche's MagicMount line is a long-standing, trusted, well-reviewed range in many mounting styles (vent, dash, window, suction, adhesive), with a strong hold and compact, discreet mounts. It's the pick for fast, one-handed magnetic mounting on any phone (great for Android or non-MagSafe users) without relying on MagSafe. The minor step is attaching the small metal plate (which some dislike aesthetically, though it can hide inside a case), but for universal magnetic convenience, it's the standout.
