Wolfbox, a Dallas-based dash cam and automotive electronics maker, announced the two-channel K7 Pro on November 4, 2026. Both the front and rear cameras use 1/1.8-inch Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensors with an F1.6 aperture and record 4K HDR at 30 frames per second, so the rear view is not limited to a lower-resolution secondary camera.
The headline feature is PlateCapture, Wolfbox's license-plate enhancement, which turns on automatically on both cameras between 6 pm and 7 am. The company says plates stay legible within 10 meters even with backlight glare or motion blur, and calls the K7 Pro the first dash cam in its category to offer plate enhancement. Wolfbox points to rear-end collisions at night, where the rear camera faces the other vehicle's front plate.
Footage can be reviewed on a 3-inch LCD touchscreen or sent to a phone through the app over 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi 6 at up to 30 MB/s; Wolfbox says a one-minute 4K clip transfers in about 10 seconds. Built-in GPS adds location data, and SD cards up to 1 TB are supported. The unit runs on a supercapacitor instead of a battery and is rated to operate from -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C). The mount suits windshield angles of 45–60°, and the IP69K-rated rear camera can be mounted outside the vehicle.
The Wolfbox K7 Pro is available now in the U.S. for $399.99 without an SD card on Wolfbox's official website and Amazon. The kit includes a second-generation circular polarizing (CPL) filter for the front camera, a 20-foot (6-meter) rear camera cable and a car charger kit.
