Garmin announced the Enduro 4 on Oct. 6, 2026. The company describes it as its longest-lasting GPS smartwatch with solar charging. It pairs a 1.4" MIP display with a solar lens, and Garmin states up to 320 hours of battery life in activity mode or up to 90 days in smartwatch mode. Both figures depend on sunlight: the footnotes assume continuous use in 50,000 lux conditions for the activity figure, and all-day wear with 3 hours per day outside in 50,000 lux conditions for the smartwatch figure.

New to the Enduro line are preset power modes, including Max Accuracy for shorter efforts and Max Battery for extended recording, along with grade-adjusted pace-based workout targets, grade-adjusted rolling pace, stamina zones and a stamina curve. Garmin Epic groups activities recorded over days, weeks or months into one entry in Garmin Connect. The watch also adds VO2 max and power curve for indoor rowing, and lets users change pack weight during a rucking activity. It has more than 100 activity profiles.

Garmin says the Enduro 4 has 50% more RAM than the Enduro 3 and an updated map engine with 30% faster panning on its built-in routable maps. Storage is 64 GB for maps, music and data.

The watch weighs 66 grams and has a 51mm fiber-reinforced polymer case, a titanium bezel and a Power Sapphire lens. It is rated to 10 ATM and has an LED flashlight with white and red light. It ships with the new ComfortFit Fabric Band, which uses Garmin's QuickFit attachment.

The Enduro 4 is available now at a suggested retail price of $899.99. The announcement does not name specific retailers.
