Strider Bikes launched the Strider Dial Fit Helmet on October 20, 2026. Strider says it is the first children's helmet with the HighBar System, which replaces traditional straps and buckles with a dial system.
Fitting takes three steps: turn the rear dial until snug, pull down the swivel chin strap, then turn the chin strap dial. Strider says the helmet fits securely in 30 seconds or less and is simple enough for kids to fit by themselves.
In the announcement, Strider cites figures that 96% of parents cannot get a traditional helmet to fit their child correctly and that a poor fit raises the odds of a head injury by 3.4x. The helmet is meant for riding a bike, skateboard or scooter, or riding as a passenger.
The Strider Dial Fit Helmet is available now at StriderBikes.com and on Amazon. The announcement does not give a price or available sizes.
